What we collect
When you buy, Stripe collects your payment details, name, business name, email and billing address and passes us the order information (not your card number). We use it to deliver the download, keep accounting records, handle support and meet legal obligations. Stripe (Stripe Payments UK / Stripe Payments Europe) processes payment and invoice data on the basis of contract. Legal bases: contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests.
When you email us we keep the messages to answer you.
Website
This site sets no cookies and has no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. We count page views with our own cookie-free counter: for each page view it stores only the date, the page address, the domain of the referring site (for example google.com) and whether the request looked like an automated bot. It does not store your IP address, your browser details or any identifier, so the counts cannot be linked to you. We use the totals to see which pages are useful. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard web server access logs.
FAIR Lite
FAIR Lite runs in your browser and stores your reports only in your browser's local storage; we do not receive them. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security. Pro purchases are processed by Stripe as described above.
Sharing and retention
Processors: Stripe (payments), Hostinger (hosting and email). Order emails and accounting records are kept for six years. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
Contact form
If you use the contact form on the engineering services page, your name, email address and message are sent by email to Proxom (kits@proxom.co.uk) through our web host and used only to reply to you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact: kits@proxom.co.uk.
